Fun and Friendly Group for anyone interested being on stage - in any role on stage or off,  from 5 yrs to 500yrs

Update from Amlwch Showstoppers - October 2020

Sadly, we find ourselves to continue to be restricted somewhat due to COVID-19. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to gain permission from the Local Authority to restart in September 2020.

With the second wave potentially being worse than the first, we have taken the sad decision to also cancel our January 2021 pantomime. For only the 2nd time in over 20yrs, Amlwch Showstoppers will not be performing its annual pantomime.'Treasure Island' will now be presented in January 2022.

While we're all very sad, it's made us all the more determined to carry on an meet regulraly via our Zoom meeting room. We've been very lucky and had several members who have taken the lead during these meetings and we've had some amazing sessions - ranging from pub quizzes to pictionary; family fortunes to Bingo; and dance sessions to online escape rooms.

These weekly sessions are open to members old and new - please get in touch via email or Facebook should you wish to receive the access details - more the merrier.

We are also holding weekly online dance sessions - Rachie's social dis-dancing which also consists of an amazing weekly challenge set during the fun.... Again this is open to members old and new - come join us on our Member's only Facebook page for more fun.

Thank You

Thanks to those who came to our AGM held 23rd February 2020.

Amlwch based Drama group which currently performs 2 shows per year - January is our traditional pantomime - July sees us in a more relaxed revue type show.

These shows are totally funded by the fundraising efforts of the group themselves and occasional charitable grants received following the tireless efforts of our commitee. All profits raised by the productions / fundraising go straight back into the group in order to continue to provide the amazing experiences received by its members.

Our aim is to allow anyone of any age, regardless of talent to have a go on stage - in whatever role they wish to try for - either on stage, backstage or front of house. All newcomers are welcome!!
